About & mission
Equipping people who can go where few others can
Roots For Life Corporation is a Florida nonprofit corporation based in Jacksonville. Our role is to help equip believers for the work of ministry through discipleship, church planting, and serving "the least of these" in South Sudan and Sudan.
Our vision is to see Christians working together as a unified body, to equip and send out laborers into the harvest, while providing long-term discipleship and mentorship to those sent.
We believe lasting change grows from the ground up: relationships first, rooted in faith, nurtured over time by local leaders.
What we do
Planting, tending, and growing
Church planting
Raising up and supporting local church planters and disciple-makers who carry the gospel to communities with little or no access to it.
Serving women at risk
Reaching women caught in or forced into the sex trade through ongoing outreach, counseling, skills training, and medical care, working to break recurring cycles.

Pray
Pray for the students, church planters, and local leaders serving in South Sudan and Sudan, and for the communities they reach.

Short-term trips may include medical missions, evangelism and discipleship, teaching in the Bible school, or exploratory travel. Write to us to learn about upcoming opportunities.
